Health & Physical EducationAll physical education students are required to wear their Bayview Uniform everyday for safe participation in activity classes. Grade 9's are reminded to purchase their uniform as soon as possible as well as submit payment to their teacher for the Self Defense Course. The course will run September 12th- September 16th for the girls' classes and October 11th- October 14th for the boys' classes. All students are reminded to review their interim report with their parents and book interview appointments for parent's night.

Highlights The Winter sport season is fast approaching. All athletes should pay close attention to announcements for upcoming tryouts and practices. Announcements may also be posted in the front foyer or outside the phys. ed office (room 44).
Winter Teams include:
Junior and Senior Girls' Volleyball Junior and Senior Boys' Basketball Boys' and Girls' Wrestling Boys', Girls' and Mixed Curling Co-ed Skiing and Snowboarding Teams will begin try-outs and practices once coaching staff have been confirmed. Listen to announcements and look for postings for try-out dates and times.

FYI Any new students (not grade 9) to Bayview Secondary School wishing to play on fall sports teams must complete and submit a "Transfer Eligibility Form" to be approved for competition. Please visit the Health and Physical Education Department, or the appropriate coach to get your form. Forms can also be downloaded from www.yraa.com under the documents section. |
