The Bayview Secondary School Athletic Council (hereinafter referred to as BAC) shall administer inter-schools ports, intra-school activities and be the governing body for Bayview SecondarySchool athletic programs. The purpose of the BAC is to promote extracurricular activities (both intra-school and inter-school), health and wellness awareness programs and to raise school spirit.

The BAC will provide opportunities for participation in a variety of activities throughout the school year. The BAC will implement fundraising initiatives to support sports teams, extracurricular activities, personal development and the Athletic Awards Banquet. Students wishing to join a sports team must pay the designated Athletic Fee to be eligible for participation and meet all York Region Athletic Association (YRAA) eligibility criteria. The athletic fee does not cover the cost of the Athletic Awards Banquet. Students wishing to participate in intra-school programs must sign up at the assigned time and agree to the terms and conditions of each activity.
